"This is the series in which there is no longer a clear-cut separation or boundary between what we call the "artist" and what we refer to as the "model." On the contrary, during this shamanic work the two merged, and their entwined spirits journeyed together during the ecstatic moments of collaboration. We might also say Jean's spirit made journeys with her Shaman's spirit, and returned with a vision (artwork) that is the trace of the track of her own spirit-journey, rather than simply a visual representation of her model's dance."
